Dolly Bird vol17

Just got the new dolly bird vol 17 from a bookshop today. It's so cute with the felt and leather work.

I haven't do any work for my Dollie for a big while. I have started learning patchwork and art flower. Both are taking my time and effort.

May be the new book will give me some inspirations. Let's see.

Doll show35 in Tokyo

My friend, Wimukt , couldn't come to this event this time. She sent me her works so I can help with the selling at the event. I love her design.


I was also selling my doll cloths as well. Thanks a lot for all support.

This time, I didn't have much time to take a photo or do my shopping( good for my wallet:)

Sewing day

Quite a few dresses, I made recently.
More for Unoa, a few for Momoko. 

It's fun to try a new pattern althrough sometimes, it's turned out unsuccessfully. 

I just joined fitness club. I will try to manage my time, to go for exercise!.
Sewing long hours is no good for my health,...especially to my shoulder and my eyes.


Today is my weekend, I will get some books from library and be relax over the weekend.  No exercies, No sewing :P

Lycra dress

I got the check Lycra fabric from Paris a few years ago. I used it a few times to make some short pants and trousers for Blythe and Momoko. This is my first try for Unoa.

Pick a few pieces

I sorted out my cotton fabric pile and picked a few of my favorite pieces out from the pile. I plan to use them tomorrow^^. I will make a dress for Momoko and Unoa.

Momoko special event

I went to momoko event today at Hamamatcho. I got one Momoko doll back home with me and a few shoes. There are so many talented seamstresses and loads of beautiful cloths.

New face :Lusis

I got this Unoa face last week. I am still trying to get used to her. My sist face needs to get retouched a bit on her cheek. It got damaged during my moving. ....(hurrr)

For the last few day I have been making quite a few outfits for Unoa and Momoko. Anyway I don't feel like taking a picture. May be I am too lazy, may be I feel a bit annoyed. I want to make a complete outfit but I end up making incomplete set.

Anyway I am happy with the new skirt I made yesterday. I just need a matching tops or Tee to be completed.

Back to Osaka

Yesterday, I was sewing a new dress for MSD but I haven't finished it yet. I have to go to Osaka urgently.

I will be back to Tokyo on Friday :)

Moving to new flat

Today I went to post the doll outfits sold at Etsy store. The earning from my sewing skill is nothing compare to the professional job I used to do in UK.

Anyway I decided to take a career break this year. ^^

Today is another big day, another move from Monzennakacho to Nishishinjuku.

Lots of things to be done.
One of the things , tomorrow, I want to get Unoa part so I may go to Mandarake. ^^.

Also a new dress for Unoa.  I wasn't sure at the beginning what I want to make. I just feel like making a country style dress.
And...this is how it's turned out.

I myself like loose puff sleeves so I decided to make ones for Unoa. :)
Also like wearing a cardigan, so I picked a little duck print jersey to make one.

Unoa new dress

Today, I made a new dress for Unoa, using a few new pieces of fabric I got yesterday.  

I went to Nippori, wishing to buy one piece of fabric but ending up getting more than a couple.  The four new ones are already used in this dress so I am happy ^^

My new flat will be not so far from Shinjuku.  I think it's walking distance to Okadaya or Yuzawaya,.... I will give a try this weekend :)
